Cloud Nine 03:26
(A push then a pull) Let's get this thing started (Trade a kiss for a scar) My thoughts are now sorted for once (This connection is better) This could happen, well (Than you'd like to admit) I think it's working I, oh I think I, I’m on cloud, cloud nine Every kind of divide has been chewed and swallowed, alright (A push then a pull) Let's get this thing started (Trade a kiss for a scar) My thoughts are now sorted for once (This connection is better) This could go well (Than you'd like to admit) I think it's working Oh I think I, I think I'm back on this unknown thing called High cloud nine, and it feels better than it did the first time This is not an encounter where you buy things and pretend to care We'll bypass it all to cut straight to the only things we dare

In the sea of faces, the air is so thin All I can breathe is you I know you’ll take my hand It was so close to being cut and lost I’m sorry if I avert your gaze, but now we’re here I’m afraid to see someone else reflected in your eyes, Yes, I’m afraid to see someone else reflected in your eyes Stay inside, it’s revelation day I’m tired of this lie that I don’t see you when I close my eyes Don’t fake me out Every kind of cliche has been thrown away Don’t shatter my romantic bones, please From my experience, everything we have turns to dust Just this once you will have to agree That you should always have a life with me

Don't know when my words slipped into this drone There was something down there, we can't see through despair I tried so hard just to describe you I didn't get so far, in this lifetime there's no air Like it cuz they told you so, hate the radio Hate the TV too, cuz it takes my time with you Find your way in the dark, how and where do I start Trying to find you in something resembling a commonplace situation And now! I wonder if we can still share our thoughts If you're feeling this now, I think you'll see my face Like it cuz they told you so, hate the radio Hate the TV too, gotta find something to do Try me cuz they all say no, but what are you waiting for? And don't you hate me too, there's no one better than you Just like it cuz they told you so, hate the radio Hate the TV too, there's no one better than you

If everyone is happy, then I am too Everybody's dropping out before our rule We can say we got it I wish that were true Everything has left me There's nothing left to do If everyone is happy If everyone is cool If everyone is happy Then so am I They can say I'm patient, let's call them a waste People will be hanging out to see the new face You'll send me a picture when you've cut all the ties Two friends from my sequel are looking through my disguise If everyone is happy If everyone is cool If everyone is happy Then so am I If everyone is happy, then I am too Everyone is dropping out of all the schools Quit this dim vacation I could put you out I have never had a mind end my doubts If everyone is happy If everyone is cool If everyone is happy Then so am I

Hey babe did you ever hear about my own collapse? It's always good as they've ever felt, there's a dent in the past It's just you and me and we're up against the entire world Maybe we're never meant to be Caught in their trap Yeah it never ends, and we don't know what to do anymore Keep it, don't drop it Yeah babe it's our only time, 80 years perhaps Something's cool and something's gone a mile in the past We don't care how they feel, today was a blast Today was a blast

My Way 03:55
No one can ever love you strongly as I do, hey I will swear, yes I will wear You get your own private section in this thing that pumps my blood, but when will it stop? It's where you'll remain forever and ever, clawing at the walls, begging to escape We should have never built this thing you wouldn't feel Self confidence is my sworn enemy But what do I do, we're dying in front of me? I know you tried to instill that in me, it disintegrates faster than bleeding It's not good enough, I know it's true, but I just care way too much to not play the fool who outruns a bullet I guess we're going cuz we see my way Doesn't matter, we died today But won't you please just tell me if it's possible to see you? I check my watch and the time has stopped Is this what we call a break or a pause? Or if we can settle, I won't taste the metal here I guess we're going cuz we see my way Doesn't matter, so try to say What's eating you, into you, because this isn't the end

Perception 02:53
Survive by yourself for a while Lost all feelings long ago It’s never your fault The fact I can let you go Can you live for what’s yours when you’re all alone? Alone, alone I’m the victim, you’re the thief You wanna steal me anyway If I burn the ground you stand on, You’ll go float away Can you life for what’s yours when you’re all alone? Alone, alone I’ll turn off the light Fade away I’ll turn off the light And fade away Survive by yourself for a while Lost all feelings long ago It’s never your fault The fact I can let you go Can you live for what’s yours when you’re all alone? Alone, alone I’ll turn off the light Fade away I’ll turn off the light And fade away
8.
If I could follow my own advice I'd be so much better I wouldn't have fallen into the trap, the one that eats me up and sucks me dry I cut off my arms and legs just to escape You would know how hard I tried and died I see you standing over there Can you accept me and love me? No one else can And no one else will You're my last hope I'm alone

Fire 02:59
Walking around in these crowded streets It's a little less lonely than my room There's smoke pouring out of these gaping mouths, they glare at me as I pass by They're fire-breathing and I don't even know why Maybe it's because there's no hope for me I think they're living their lives to the fullest extent, they're dying at 40, when it's all supposed to end All this fresh air is so bad for my lungs, that's what I've heard, so it must be true I think I'll cut the phone lines and wrap them around below my head If you know you can't take me On your own, properly I'll give you time, never leave Until you throw and can't retrieve You let me see my own blueprints It turns out I'm alone by design My mind's on fire, I don't even know why Hose me down, end the drought If you know you can't take me On your own, properly I'll give you time, never leave Until you throw and can't retrieve I wanna go home, don't you take it from me As I fade alone on these dim-lit streets Is it a twist-tie or is it chain? Please remove it or watch it drain They're fire-breathing and I don't even know why Maybe it's because there's no hope for me

Plunge 04:55
Going to reiterate your clashing parallels Everything you flourished in crashes back to sell Turn and throw me out again, I’m a relic of the dead Days in which we used to sing, smile, laugh, and play Time to start the game, this game of saving face My luck just broke a mirror, so now it’s far inferior And everyone wants to take the plunge And everyone does, I guess it hurts Travel back in time to when we drove you home that night Paradigms and oxygen, and broken vessels too We were late, the gate was locked, but no one seemed to mind I’ll see you now, I’ll see you then But now it’s just pretend It’s time to start the game, this game of saving face Do the streetsweepers get the people off the ground? And everyone wants to take the plunge And everyone does, I guess it hurts

Parannoyed 03:30
You think you’re so paranoid, Just look at me You wanna be so annoyed, There’s no one else to be Just a taste It’ll take your breath away Looking for the only way To see your through Something locked in the original Faked around the corners Lose yourself again You know you’ve got it good when everything that you love Disappears You think you’re so paranoid, Just look at me You wanna be so annoyed, There’s no one else to be
12.
Greetings to you, let's get down with the floor decorations Inside your head was a vicious little thing called deprecation Telling you how to want me is a sign of desperation But nothing can try to match my own dedication Soon enough It's never soon enough It wasn't soon enough So don't let go So let's just return to see how we could ever be true Nothing else comes to mind when they mention you Except the everything that it is we tried to share Don't leave it behind because we know it will not ever be there Soon enough It's never soon enough It wasn't soon enough So don't let go Don't let go Oh yes, oh yes Let's make a return to private jets And soundproof floors Nothing could ever touch us here No one could ever, ever touch you here Yes no one
13.
They sent you out on a mission Things to feed your growing superstitions To save everyone in all of the world But now you talk with tooth and nail And sometime the things you want to derail Put on some Pavement, what can I do? You saved everyone, every last person in this world Except for me, yeah except for me But I’m saying now it’s okay Go ahead and find someone who’s a 12 out of 10, it’s just around the bend Let’s pretend this is easy to repeat And keep a bin full of all our keepsakes I can’t throw them out, they’re part of me We’ve got one fatal flaw, it’s always different In the eyes of different people, yours was that You got sick of things I could say that I am the master Of feeling it and dying down faster But not for you Never for you Did you know what I was always feeling too? How could I trust anyone but you? I could never know, but I think you will We are high, but not on fumes Or liquids This is a funny feeling that only seems to confuse You, my love, my everything I guess we’ll see

about

After not being satisfied with the first two albums, we spent two years creating the follow up to Low Vibe. We selected 13 of the 20 or so songs that best told a story of a relationship in an abstract manner. Enjoy!

We went through a large range of the styles in the course of the record. The best way to describe it would be "indie rock that steps foot in another world."
